THIS HAS GREAT RESOURCES FOR BIBLE STUDY.

Let us take a look into these verses from Proverbs 26:24-26 (KJV):

"He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him; When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart. Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation."

This passage warns about people who hide their hatred behind deceptive speech. Let's break it down:

1. "He that hateth dissembleth with his lips" - Someone who harbors hatred might pretend to be friendly and speak nicely on the surface. "Dissembleth" means to disguise or conceal one's true feelings.

2. "When he speaketh fair, believe him not" - Don't trust someone's pleasant words when they have shown themselves to be deceitful. The verse warns against taking flattering speech at face value.

3. "Seven abominations in his heart" - The number seven in Biblical context often represents completeness. This suggests the person's heart is completely full of evil intentions.

4. "Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed" - Eventually, the truth will come out. The person's true nature and malicious intentions will be exposed publicly ("before the whole congregation").

The overall message is about the danger of deceitful people who hide their true hostile intentions behind pleasant words and fake friendliness. It teaches us to be discerning about people's true character rather than just accepting their words at face value.

When I watch any type of reality T.V. I am reminded how easily people put on their fake face and wear it so naturally.

Keep using wisdom and discernment as your guide to avoid pitfalls in your journey of life.
