THIS HAS GREAT RESOURCES FOR BIBLE STUDY.

Proverbs 29:11 in the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible reads:

"A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards."

This proverb contrasts the behavior of a fool with that of a wise person:

1. "A fool uttereth all his mind": This means that a foolish person speaks out everything that comes to their mind without restraint or consideration. They lack self-control and blurt out their thoughts impulsively.

2. "But a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards": In contrast, a wise person exercises restraint and self-control. They think before they speak and consider the consequences of their words. They may hold back their thoughts until a more appropriate time or until they've had a chance to reflect on them.

The meaning of this proverb emphasizes the importance of self-control, particularly in speech. It suggests that wisdom involves the ability to restrain oneself, to think before speaking, and to choose one's words carefully. This contrasts with foolishness, which is characterized by impulsive and unrestrained speech.
